Lime Athletics LLC., came about with 4 friends that have a shared passion for sports and identified a lack of
sports equipment options for children. Pickleball is one of the few athletic games that was created specifically for
kids. Unlike a tennis ball, the wiffleball naturally bounces to a child’s natural strike zone, making it much easier to
hit than a much bouncier tennis ball. The paddle is lightweight and smaller than a tennis racquet, making it much
easier to maneuver.
As we continued to play recreationally, we saw that this sport is multi-generational as our children begin to
participate in the sport that our grandparents and parents play. We would like nothing more, but to promote an
active and healthy lifestyle in such a fun and engaging way for the whole family.
